Basically I created this blog to document the different things I go through when it comes to my hair. I am hardly set on one style even though I keep telling myself that eventually I will loc it up again. I am also not set on one product because I am yet to find a product I am happy with. So I jump around from product to product never satisfied.
My hair is extremely spongy and I do not hair type because I have all the textures in my hair. The front of my hair is almost straight, there is barely any curl patterns, the middle is super kinky very tight curls and sides rarely curl and almost straight
Ninety percent of my life I have always had natural hair. The first time I cut my hair of on my own nobody in my family thought I was capable of doing it. So my brother and sister came with me to the barber shop to witness this historic moment. Mind you this was not the first time I had short hair. Growing up in Nigerian, in my school girls were not allowed to grow their hair so I had a boy cut brush and go up until I came to America at the age of 10.
Anyone that knows me understands one thing about me when it comes to my hair. I am very indecisive and impulsive l when it comes to maintaining hair style. One minute I want to shave my hair off the next I want dread locks, and the next I want to sew in before you know it I want poetic justice braids, long Senegalese twist. Then when I get tired of all my wanting I miss my afro, I rock it out and wild. Then when I seen enough hair I wrap it up with a scarf. You get the point!!!
